I met Al in July 2005 when we were both working at the same company.  He’s a mechanical engineer.  I’m an electrical engineer.  Like many good things, it all started over coffee.  (The coffee he made every day in his French press tasted much better than the free coffee served in the cafeteria.)  In September 2007 we were married.  So that’s where the “DeMeo” part comes in.

I’d registered this domain even before the wedding.  It was just a static front-end for the longest time.  Mostly it just linked to my other sites.  I’d always planned to use it for a family site one day, thinking there’d be lots of kids photos to share.  Perhaps someday that will still happen.

Meanwhile, this is just my outlet for…anything really.  It’s not quite a diary; it’s more general and less private than that.  Still, it serves a similar therapeutic purpose.
